A Victorian enamel and diamond bracelet designed as a snake. The bracelet is formed of three flexible high karat gold open work tubes with an expanding clasp revealing three additional high karat gold open work tubes underneath. The serpent's head and tail are painted in blue enamel, the body set with diamonds and each eye set with a ruby, suspending a blue enamel and pearl heart shaped locket from its mouth. Circa 1880.
